I’ve lost more than 250 pounds, and my breasts are just bags of skin and glandular tissue.

I’m going for a plastics consult next month.

Has anyone successfully had breast work done where insurance covered it?

Early in my DS journey, I was prescribed Viokase, then switched to Creon when Viokase became unavailable in the United States.

I really prefer Viokase because it a compressed caplet, not a time-release capsule like Creon.

After losing 271 pounds (new weight as of this morning!), I find that I cannot find obese men attractive. I get along with obese women fine, as I was one of them ten years ago.

I don't just outright ignore obese men, I'm friendly, and I will t

I see a lot of questions about this topic, and how to get insurance to pay.

The key is a matter of semantics and coding.

Thighplasty is a cosmetic surgery procedure that tightens skin and underlying muscle. Most insurance will

This is really bugging me because I have been in these shoes myself.

I'm ten years out from my DS as of 2/25/2020, went from my highest of 405 to my current 134-144 ( I bounce around on the scale a little!). I haven't done much dating because

After a years-long absence, I"M BACK !!!!

Some of you may remember me from as far back as 2009, when I first got my DS.

I've been through nutritional crises, extended eldercare (which is what kept me away), and any number of life issues

I have absorption issues, and rather than do a surgical revision, I chose the pharmaceutical route.

I was started on Viokase back in 2010, then switched to Creon, because Viokase was no longer available in the United States. I'm told

As predicted, my labs suck canal water.

I had already proactively gotten back on track, so a retest in 3 months should show improvement.

Nobody's fault but mine.  I got lax, now I have to work like a dog to get my levels back up.  Ugh!
