Medicare strikes again!! 10/27/11

 I went to the main hospital to get my labs and test done today.  Big mistake!  I should have went to the health center where the office is.  I bet they get all the bariatric patients and are used to dealing with this.  At the main hospital, they at first told me that medicare denied 3 blood tests, the vitamin d, a1c and pregnancy.  The registration lady called medicare, and after about a half hour got everything but the pregnancy test approved.  Who doesn't approve a pregnancy test for a 30 year old???!!!  So I got what I could done and figured that I would talk to the office tomorrow, and go the the health center lab and try again tomorrow or so.  I am sure that they have covered it for others.  Am I right??  If I have to I will march in the surgeons office and pee into a cup with 2 home pregnancy tests from Walgreen's, lmao!!  Nothing is getting in my way!  If I can help it anyway.  
The blood gas was not that bad.  Actually hurt less then the regular blood draw.  The resp therapist had 26 years exp, so he knew what he was doing...(Thank god)  He tried asking some young intern to do it, and I was thinking,,HELLS NO!  She didn't look a day over 16.  But luckily she was busy...(Damn)  The regular blood draw felt like she ripped my arm open.  Then, every time she changed the tube, she jammed it into my arm!  I used to draw blood...You can be a little gentler then that!  Now I have a dead arm on one side and a dead hand on the other, lol.  Useless!  I keep screwing up what I am typing.  So on that note...Off I go.....
