Its past my 4 months by 4 days, Ive been soooo busy with the holidays I just have neglected to post, as of today I did not make my personal goal of being below 200 lbs by Christmas, weight today is 208.2, but I'm not beating my self up, I'm not cheating I'm doing what I know I should so it will happen when its time,maybe by New Years, at any rate I'm healthier than I was at Christmas last year having social issues with Family and friends, don't know if its jealousy or just that I make them uncomfortable, but I'm still me just thinner!! don't understand the problem, I'm also having some identity issues, I have to do a double take because I don't recognize myself in reflections. I still think of myself as as big as Ive ever been, its crazy because I can buy clothes that fit, but its almost like I'm dressing someone else.........maybe some one understands me. Ive avoided mirrors for so long refusing to look at my self. I hope I will make peace with myself soon. I still am sooooo glad I did this and I'm grateful for the chance. I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT. hope every one had a Merry Christmas here's to a thinner New Year!!!............Connie
Surgeon follow up.

Saw my surgeon 11/29 at just over 3 months. I ask if I'm a slow looser, and she laughed stating "your doing just fine," I weighed in at 219 in her office, that's 50 lbs since surgery in 3 months...WOW. I was a little dizzy the day of my apt, she ask if I was drinking all my fluids.....and to be honest I was soo busy over Thanksgiving that I really had not taken good care of my self, but Im back on track, and I know the importance of getting in all my fluids. I don't have my first Labs until 6 months out in Feb. it will be interesting to see how I'm doing. I take a multivit with iron, B12, D3, zinc (EOD), and calcium. I hope Im getting what I need, I feel good guess that counts for something. All in All Im doing well have no complaints, and love my sleeve!!!!!
