The Gift

After extensive journaling, talking with family and praying I have come to the conclusion that my WLS is a gift, from God, which I have chosen for the betterment of my life.  I have faith that God will surround me and the surgical team in October and I will have an uneventful surgery.  When I awaken in recovery, I will praise the Lord first thing for delivering me safetly from surgery and into the hands of the nurses.  I will care for myself like I would a newborn baby.  A new life, which I feel will be given to me through this WLS.  A new journey, a new chapter, a life changing event which I will embrace and praise God for the gift he has given to me.
