Venting and disappointed...

So yesterday there was a thread (2) posted just asking people that had the band and had complications to share their experiences (something to that effect) but clearly nothing to bash the people that had success with it. This Naomi character (trust me a great description), chimed in and started blaming the people that experienced compilations for their suffering.  Of course people, those that had /have the band and those that had other WLS procedures, commented (mostly in disagreement) on her response.  I was very disturbed that someone that has many years dealing with weight loss could be so “thick”.  What really got me pissed is the next day she changed her story, she professed that she did not have any complications and the very next day she had complications.   Then went on to describe that a complication is when you have to be hospitalized (how insane is that).  I hate it when people flip flop to suit their needs, stick to one story. Anyway as a newbie I would have thought that one could come to this forum and get informed and support when needed and under any circumstances (if your tool failed you or if you failed your tool). I’m reasonable enough to know that this is still the case but, damn… it was very eye opening to see someone act like that. I thought that we all were all here for the same reason (learn, help and support) after all WE all have the same thing in common and  that common factor is what got us here in the first in place. Venting over, moving on from the lunacy that is Naomi
