1 week Surgeriversary..sounds so funny

Hello my beautiful friends

So many mixed feelings. I can't believe it has been a week since I was in the hospital and starting my new life. Two more weeks feel like a milestone my brain is saying I want food the taste of it on my tongue sigh. Well it will be here sooner than I know it. I have seen a lot of post of ppl actually eating right away. I asked my nutritionist and she's like not a good idea for all the reasons of healing properly. What I don't get is that I can have a thick shake but no yogurt hmm what's that about. On the bright side my scale says I lost 12lbs which I do not see and can't believe I guess I have to keep checking but when I go to my visit let's see what they say. I think my blood sugars are controlled, I can't believe the normal numbers I am getting when I used to go highs a lot and I am on a insulin pump. I was told I will never get off of insulin that's ok one things for sure weight is finally going away.

I want to THANK each and every one of you for being my support team. Thank you for the stories and blessings its great to meet new ppl in your life that make a change and help you through obstacles. My new Family I Love all of you
