Christmastime is Heeerrreee(Charlie Brown tune)

Dec 24, 2011

Well today is Christmas Eve and my family celebrated Christmas today since tomorrow is Sunday and we all go to different churches. Anywho my mom cooks brunch and that's her gift to us. Being that I am 19 days post op and on soft foods all my family was wondering what I was gonna eat. Well I had a scrambled egg, a turkey sausage link and a half of slice of wheat toast with sugar free strawberry preserves...while they had bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, biscuits, cheese eggs, stuffed mushrooms, sausage balls, cinnamon rolls, fruit and all kinds of juices and Christmas sweets. And you know what I was satisfied with saucer of food. This was the first time some of my extended family has seen me since surgery and of course everybody swears that they can tell I've lost weight. I finally told them to stop looking at me and trying to see if they saw a change because I didn't care if they did or not all that mattered is how I felt. I didn't say it in a mean way but I mean sheesh give a girl a break I'm only 19 day out its not like I'm gonna be walking around looking like Halle Berry I look the same as I did on Thanksgiving...I know they are excited and they definitely are my biggest cheerleaders but c'mon now give me a break. Anyway I enjoyed my family and my son had a GREAT Christmas. Until next time losers...as I always end it...see ya on the loser's bench ...Merry Christmas
