Gained 20 lbs back after sleeve- Feeling hopeless

Hello Everyone,

It has been well over a year since I posted anything on here but so much has happened in my life.  Okay, here it is in a nutshell. I had the surgery in November of 2009. I was so excited because in less than 6 months I had lost 80lbs. My starting weight was 267 lbs (size 20) and my lowest was 175 lbs. (8-10). Then in May of 2009 my husband and I were nearing our 9 year wedding anniversary when we separated.  After that, I moved back in with my parents and went into a depression.  I was on the verge of losing my job and I went from exercising 5-6 times a week to ZERO and opened the flood gate to SWEETS i.e. sweet breads, chocolate, pretty much dealing with those all too familiar food habits. 

Now fast forward to 2011...like Gloria Estefan said it in her song, I finally feel like "I'm coming out of the dark..." Things are starting to look up although we have now filed for divorce and I have gained 20 lbs., I moved out of my parents, work is back on track and just last week, I forced myself to face the relaity that if I don't control my weight that I could very well rewind myself back to 2009 when I noticed clothes that once fit me very loose is now tight, not snug but TIGHT!  I'm just now starting to want to eat healthier (focus on the protein & water) however, I still have the strong craving for sweets. I feel like I failed.  I feel tired and don't have a lot of energy at the end of the day.  Am I alone? Have I failed?
