Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
My weight has always been up and down util recently I was able to lose weight but now all I do is gain. In the pat year my depression has been worse than ever. I was diagnosed with typr 2 diabetes about 5 yrs ago now. In the past year I have diagnosed with hypertension and high cholesterol, I am at my heaviest weight at 279. I am scheduled for surgery 06/11/12.

3 weeks post op

Ok well I am feeling super good today. I have now lost 30 pounds!!!!!  I am tickled pink. My first gole was to lose 30 pounds now on to my next goal of 50 pounds!!!! As long as the numbers on the scale keep coming down we will be all good.

Post Op

Well I am finally on the losers side of things. I am 11 days post op and am down 22lbs. Still have the icky days. I am to start stage 3 foods on Weds, which will be 2 weeks post ops. I still have to get used to not drinking when I eat, I made that mistake yesterday and lets just say I was green aaround the gills. I will post more as things progress.

The long Wait

Well now starts the long wait. Was not that diffuclt getting surgery approved, the dr is out of his office quite a bit at the end of the month, so I see him june the 4th and have surgery on june the 11th. It is like God has sent so many peolple in my direction that has been on this journey to show me I am amking the right decision.
