I'm in a Funk! But I'm getting out of it!

Oh well it was bound to happen, but I'm getting back on track by going to the gym tonight.  I've been losing weight, I'm now down 74lbs and it's been 2.5 months, so that's not bad.

But I got myself into this funk where I haven't gone to the gym in a week, and I'm not making sure I eat my protein like I'm supposed too.  I'm going to the gym tonight, but I was a little alarmed seeing myself go from this hi energy Jane Fonda wannabe, to my mopey old self.  LOL

My son feels I could have over done it at the gym and needed a break.  He is so sweet!   After giving it much thought, I agreed with my son and said maybe going to the gym 7 days a week is over doing it.   I lost 4 lbs this week and didn't go to the gym, so it wasn't like I had a weight gain or a stall.   I just didn't like feeling sluggish, plus after I exercise I feel so empowered and I'm ready to take on the world.

We'll I decided to stop the weight training and just do my 30 -45 mins a night on the treadmill for a month, and start the weight training back up next month.  I'll see how that goes then, and try to eat more protein.   It's so hard watching carbs, and certain proteins don't sit well in my stomach.  So it's a battle but I know I'll eventually get there.
