Step Two Complete

On August 21, I finally met with my surgeon and I am very impressed with her! I went to the information forum 2 months ago and finally was able to get to the next step this past week.  I have scheduled by nutrition class and psych eval which are both on Sept 11. The good news is that my insurance is requiring only a 3 month supervised diet in which I started July 1 through my primary doctor. So things are starting to move along and I am getting really excited.  I was told that it can take 6-8 weeks to get insurance approval. I hope that my surgery can happen this year.  

I have been so thankful for my weight loss buddies, Melanie and my sister.  It is great having others going through the process with you.  We are all leaning toward the sleeve.
