Weighing Weekly

I was really getting frustrated weighing every day, so I decided to try weighing once a week, because my weight would go down 2 lbs., up a lb., ect. So this is the first weekly weigh-in (it was hard!) and I did loose 3 lbs. This still seems slow to me, but at least I AM LOOSING! I sure do have lots more energy, and not lugging around that 53 lbs. has been great! I have been feeling good, so right now, all is well!

I am happy to say I finally hit the 50 lb. loss mark! It has been slow coming, it seems to me, but am excited it happened at last! I have been trying not to weigh every day, but it's hard! At least I haven't weighed since Monday, and when I don't weigh every day, I can't see how I am gaining a lb. or 2 here & there & not losing, so at least I have lost a couple this week. Meanwhile, clothes are getting loser! The stretch jeans I just bought, size 16-18 are baggy, and the pants I bought a couple weeks ago, I thought I got misses XL, well they are actually LARGE! This ride is getting more fun! Well, I am off to go thrifting and lunch with my best friend!

The scale seems to be moving more steady now. I was making my shakes with skim milk, but this week I haven't used milk, and wonder if that is why the scale is moving faster.
3 Month Check-up

I'm not morbidly obese anymore, only obese! My BMI is now 38.7! Everything went well, I was concerned about the dizzyness when I bend over, to pick something up off the floor. This has been going on for about the last 1 1/2 weeks. He thought it might be sinuses, which I usually have trouble with, but I haven't had any headaches or pains. He said it could be inner-ear, or low blood sugar, so he took some blood to test that.
He said I have lost almost 30% of what they expect me to loose.
As for getting hungery 2-3 hrs. after I eat, he said to just have a snack, protein or fruit. I don't see Dr. Huynn again for 18 months.
