My Story

The day after my surgery I had a life threatening complication.  I had two blood clots, one in each lung.  The one in my left lung was much larger than the one in the right.  Fortunately it was taken care if quickly and I was fine.  
I did a six month round of Coumadin and have been clot free since.

I initially lost 70 pounds post-surgery.  I am currently up 40 pounds from my lowest weight.  About 13 pounds of that is baby weight as I had my first child in May 2007.  The other is weight that I put on post surgery and want desperately to lose again.
