so i started pilates this week.  i find it very hard, not so much being physically difficult, but because it's not very stimulating, it's very yoga-like and meditative which is exactly what sends me running for the hills.  However, i know in all respects including the ones i hate, it's good for me.  so i'm literally doing it for maybe 5-10 minutes at a time tops.  i can *still* feel the effects even with this brief exposure and the limited number of exercises i'm doing.  my commitment is to do this every day, even if i do 1 minute.  so far i have kept my commitment for exactly 2 days.  if i do it for a week, that's good.  if i do it for more than a week, that's REALLY good.  but i'm keeping it 1 day at at time because that's the only way i know to succeed at anything.
