Preparing for Surgery

Well.  After a year long process, I finally have a surgery date scheduled.  It seems surreal.  I can´t believe that it´s actually going to happen.  I´m still waiting for some sort of wrench to be thrown in the socket.  But every day that passes I start to realize more and more that this is going to happen for me.  After a lifetime...literally...of obesity, I am finally going to have a tool to help me reach my goal.

My surgery is scheduled for May 14, 2012.  I plan to take and post before pictures prior to undergoing the knife.  Pre-op diet starts April 30th, but I plan to start a few days before.  I figure my liver is extra fatty, so every day counts!  My friends have planned a sort of ¨last hoorah¨ at a local pizza joint this coming week, then it´s protein shakes from there on out.
