Well, day after Christmas.......

Day after Christmas and as always, ate too much on Christmas day. Good thing is that none of the left overs had to come home with me. I have had to watch what I eat because of the acid reflux. The pills are doing something because I have only had one bad episode of things coming back up. I think it was because I ate too much! Oh, well, I am so trying to get a jump on this weight loss.
I go to the doc consult and nutrition visit in one week, January 3rd. I am getting anxious! I am trying to lose a few pounds before then, but it does not look like they are coming off any time soon. That has to do with my ankle and the swelling it continues to do. I am still off of work, and am still doing therapy. Not only the ankle (had surgery in June), but also my herniated disc is acting up and has been giving me fits for two weeks. I have not had a shot in my back since June of '11. I try not to take many pain pills as I do not like the feeling I get from them. I either get nauseaous or I get too tired and just don't want to do anything after a period of days of taking the pain pills. Yuck. I hate either of those feelings but I have been having pains that "stop you dead in your tracks", and it is not a good feeling!
Anyhow, just sitting here watching some tv while this snow storm hits us here in ohio. I live out in the country and the wind is just blowing all the snow and our yard has maybe one inch accumulation while in town has more like 4" accumulation. I will have to wait and see what it looks like in the morning!
Just wanted to put a blog on here because I started out so "gong ho" about this, and haven't been on in over a week! Well, things are just normal for me, no work yet, husband that walked out in October is still gone and has not contacted me, so I am just here and waiting for someone to come and reposses this new car he has not paid for, and waiting for the new year to see what it will bring. I need to call some attorneys and see if they will do a divorce pro bono!
