1 Week Out & 20lbs Down!

Jan 12, 2010

Well I really did it. It's not a walk in the park like some might think. My surgery was supposed to be outpatient and home that afternoon, instead I had to stay overnight. I didn't want to wake up from recovery,  my body just wanted to sleep. The Dr's said they hadn't seen anything like it, and too my oxygen level was 90 across the board and they said anyone below 90 was opted to stay so my odds were against me, I really wanted to go home, but later that night when making my potty break I noticed it was a good idea I had stayed the night cause I had hell nausea!  I remember throwing up when coming out of surgery, and than again in the recovery room, poor nurses....Way not fun>

My sisters all came to visit it was a great! My oldest sis brought me flowers.  Its a new begining for me! I so excited.  My hubby did awesome! He sooo took care of me, I Love HIm!

I now am a week out and down 20lbs.
This liquid diet isn't as easy as some might think, prepare yourself, I read of people not being able to get all their protein in and I was like wow ok, just eat more duh... and now being on the other side of the fence, guess wat? I am one of the peps having a hard time with protein. HAHA Im working steadly on it. My next hurdle will be my 2 week check up. Hope all goes well then. I will keep you posted, unitl then
wishes you good health!!!
