It's been a while

It's been a while since I've written here.  It's been a bit of a journey these past few month.  BUT...I'm scheduled for surgery on Sept 13.  Not too far away now.  I am really excited it is almost time.  These almost 6 additional months of waiting have been LONG.  I'm ready.

Took my daughter shopping today.  She starts school on Tuesday.  She is 13 1/2 and beautiful.  Today was the first day I have "allowed' myself to think about cute clothes.  I was actually looking at the styles that are out now.  Seeing what I could possibly wear in a few month.  No more unstylish clothes.  Shoes.  Boots.  etc etc etc.  It's silly I am sure.
