One week post op

I'm doing well.  Today is one week since surgery.   My incisions are healing well.  Bruising is also healing well.  Below are my figures today:

I'm down 9 post op.  I'm down 27 pre & post total.

I have PCOS and impossible to know if and when I will get my cycle.  YUP....mother nature is definitely not getting an award anytime soon....woke up Sunday morning to her surprise.  JUST what I did not need right now.  She could have waited a week or more but NO.  Hopefully she will make a quick departure.

I left the hospital no longer needing 4 prescription meds I was on.  HUGE kuddos to myself for that.

My left lung collapsed in recovery so I'm on inhalers for a bit.  Hopefully I will be told to stop those too.  If I am, then I am off all meds except Omeprazole.  I know I won't be on that for long either.  It will be wonderful to not have prescription meds.  It will feel like getting a raise!

God has been challenging me lately.  I am remaining strong & determined.  Right now is about ME.....at least that's what I'm repeatedly telling myself.

Tomorrow I see my surgeon for a post-op check.  I am sure she will be happy with my progress.

Fall in New England has come full force.  Time to swap out the clothes.  HOWEVER....my summer stuff is going right into bags & taken to Good Will or someplace.  Not keeping them as they will not be used next year.  I am feeling good about doing this.  I just need someone to get my fall/winter container out of the attic.  I will probably go thru this as well at the same time and weed things out.  I will keep a few outfits to transition.  I work from home so don't need too many office clothes.  When I return to the office I will buy an outfit then.
