Today is the last day of my pre-op diet.  Yesterday was the hardest day.  I was most tempted to have more than 500 calorie meal.  Also, was it hard listen to both my brother and my husband say "why don't you just follow this diet for away and not do this surgery".  They don't get it.  I can follow this type of diet for awhile but not forever.  What is getting through this is knowing that today is the last day of it.  Even though tomorrow and Wednesday are pure liquids, that is for only for two days also.  

I know this is the best thing for me and will help make the permanent changes I need to make in my life.
