Lets talk boobs shall we?

Jun 28, 2011

I've lost about 135 lbs. Went from a size 44DD to a 36C.
As the weight drops, so does our boobs (in most cases). Standing up, naked, my boobs don't look too awful - a little saggier than I'd want and severely deflated. But it's when I bend over that they make me cringe!

Unfortunately I am no where near, nor ever will be, close to being able to afford a boob job. So I've made it my mission to find comfortable bras that give me ample lift, support, don't make my flab hang out of the top by my pits, and are still somewhat sexy.

Anyways, I went to Victorias Secret over the weekend since it was their Semi Annual sale. I tried on probably a dozen bras and fell in LOVE with the Biofit Push Up. It covers enough boob to keep me in place. It's sexy, smooth, and doesn't make me pop out in odd places.
Also, I still love the Lane Bryant Cacique Boost Plunge bra. Gives great lift, and is comfy but still sexy.

Both places do free bra fits. I definitely recommend getting one. 80% of women wear the wrong size bra. So, get the girls fitted! It's not invasive at all, and they ladies that work at these stores do them all the time so they're very nice about it.

My thoughts on bras:
Yes, they're expensive for good ones. BUT, having the right fitting bra is priceless! It makes you feel sexy. Makes your clothes fit better, makes you look slimmer and younger. So, spend the money cause you'll get it returned in spades! Don't just go to Target and grab the first $12 bra you find. Get good quality stuff. They last longer and we deserve it!

Have a good 4th of July everyone!
Hugs!
