Post surgery uphoria!

I feel really good. Bandages and most of the steri-tape strips came off today. Had a shower - heaven! Drove the car. Gas has pretty much gone. I'm still on the post surgery liquid diet and your body lets you know if you drink too fast. You know that feeling when you've eaten something that goes down the wrong way? Well, that's it. My body is training me what to do and what not to do. I've been absolutely religious about following the instructions and haven't had any real difficuluty, although I'm certain to face challenges ahead. So far, so good.
