Christmas is almost here...

Well, it's almost Christmas-time...love this time of year!
I am maintaining really well. The following are things I believe have helped me tremendously:
Having the Lapband first because I now have scar tissue that has helped me continue to eat super small amounts. I eat about 1/2 cup of food per meal,as observed by Mom. In between I do snack a bit, but it hasn't hurt me at all. I might gain or lose two pounds, but am really staying within that range.
I have noticed that if I am having a meal out, such as last week when we attended a Christmas luncheon, if I eat the meat LAST, I have a better chance of keeping it all down. If I eat the meat first and then try to eat the vegetables, etc, I might lose my lunch.
My New Year's Resolution is to cut out the peanut M&M's. I have really consumed too many of those and they're not good for me at all.
Still exercising and walking -- doing something everyday! :)
