Submitted for approval!!

I got an email from my surgeon's office saying they submitted my case to the insurance for approval. I'm kind of stunned. I was under the assumption that it would be submitted after my entire three month diet was over, which would be in April. Now I will know in 7-14 days. Holy crap. I did reply and ask her about my diet so we'll see what she says. But this is her specialty, it's her job to make the case as appealing to the insurance as possible.

 

I'm excited. And surprisingly (to me), I'm scared to death! I was in the shower and found myself thinking that it was just too soon. I had my mind wrapped around having another month and then preparing to submit to insurance. Now it feels like I had some of my preparation time taken away.

 

Am I ready? Yeah. I guess I am. This is just so huge. I think part of my shock is that this all seems soooo much more real now. Maybe it will really happen for me this time. I hope?!

 

Did you all go through this or am I crazy for not being more excited?
