Surgeon Testimonial

Michael Williams, M.D.
I met Dr. Williams today.(1/17/07) He is a very nice man. He knows exactly what questions you are going to ask and answers them BEFORE you ask. The office as a whole runs like a well oiled machine. They know who you are and make sure that you are informed they speak to you like you are an old friend not a patient. I felt at home, Everything that you need to know about preop, postop and aftercare are covered. Not only in a video but also in writing and in person. The only problem that I had was the paperwork that was sent to the house still has not gotten here. If I hadn't asked for them to fax it to me I would not have known anything until the day of my preop. And then it would have been too late because I would not have known that I had preop how much I was suppose to pay out of pocket etc. Other than that the experience with Dr. Williams and his staff was truly a pleasure.

Hi my name is Kimberly. I have been looking into WLS for over 4 years now. I have been through a lot of the process and have gotten scared, frustrated and confused. I have come to the conclusion that I can not lose this weight by myself and it is time for me to do something. I have met the new me once before but she has been gone for a while now so now it is time to find her again. Hopefully I will see her soon.

Hi everyone
on April 11, 2008 10:22 am
Hi there!

I am still here. I have been having a lot of issues lately. Car broke down $2400 to fix. But the really funny/sad thing is that I was told by my director that I have been dressing to provocative lately and that I can not wear anything that shows cleavage. Needless to say my company does not have a dress code so you know that this was NOT taken well by me. And there is a LOT of cleavage showing around here! I mean really now this is CRAZY! Has anyone went been in a situation like this? Anyway I am down to 172.2 and counting. I go on my first cruise in June, family reunion in Chicago in July and just basically having a lot of fun. So what has been going on with you guys?

Hi
on February 24, 2008 4:45 am
What's going on well Feb is almost over. I turned 39 on the 16th and was extremely happy that I was no longer the person I was. I weigh between 170 and 175 according to what day of the week it is. I am in a SIZE 10! I went to Fredricks of Hollywood and was able to get a medium and not have to try it on. Looking Back
on January 20, 2008 7:38 am
Well it has been one year for me. Last year I was 315 pounds of a sometimes happy woman. Now I am 175 pounds of a majority of the time happy woman. When I look back to a year ago... all I wanted was to maybe get down to a size 18. Now I am in 8's, 10's and 12's according on how its made. I went from wanted to be under 300 pounds to wanting to be under 200 pounds to wanting to get to 175 and now my new goal is to be 150 pounds. When I talked to Janet at Dr. Williams' office she said that my initial weight was 187 pounds of excess body fat I have lost 140 of that so if I lost the remaining 47 pounds I will be at 100% weight lost. Don't know if I will get there or not but I am going to get this body toned up now so that I don't have to worry about the excess skin that is showing up. This has been a WONDERFUL beginning for me and I am looking forward to the healthy years ahead. Talk to you guys SOON!

Happy New Year
on January 1, 2008 6:10 am
Hi everyone. Today is a day to be thankful. Thankful for making it to another year! Thankful for losing weight that I was not able to lose before. Thankful that my kids and family are healthy and alive. I look back at this time last year and  I just say WOW. In 2007 I had my surgery, got divorced and lost 136 pounds. On January 1, 2007 I weighed 315 pounds and wore a size 28. Today January 1, 2008 I weigh 179 and wear a size 12. Isn't God good! I hope that all of you have a GREAT 2008 and I will talk to you all soon!

11 months
on December 28, 2007 7:11 am
Well guys it has been 11 months for me and I am down 136 pounds(nw). I am weighing 179 and hope to lose the last ten pounds before my year is up. I will still be considered overweight but not obese. Since I am wearing my daughter's junior 11/13 pants and small/medium shirts so I am sort of  scared to go too much further. I look smaller than what I weigh so that is part of the issue. But other than that I am doing great! So what is going on with you guys?

Hey Ya'll
on November 26, 2007 9:06 am
Hi everyone! I weighed myself this morning and I am 189.0. I have lost a total of 126 pounds. BMI is 33.5. I am on my way to being a normal BMI person. I am slowing down on what I am losing per month but I am just so happy to be under the 200 pound mark that I wouldn't care if I didn't lose another pound. I am shocked at how my clothes fit and how I am still having to buy more clothes because they are still getting to big for me. I am just so thankful that this worked. After all of the programs that I tried and failed at it is a RELIEF that the weight is off. So tell me what is going on with you!

Hi All
on November 6, 2007 4:51 am
Hi everyone, How are you all doing? I am doing fine. I am weighing 194.2 and I am just so amazed at how my BMI is going down. My BMI was 55.7 when I first started this journey and now it is 34.3. When I get down to 140 it will be 24.7. It is amazing how our weight changes our BMI and it is also amazing how much weight it takes to make a few points up or down. Anyway I hope that each one of you have a great day and I will talk to you all soon.
