Hello OH Friends!

I am now 11 weeks out from surgery and
80 pounds have disappeared from my body FOREVER!

The updated pics that I promised last week have been added.  I have to admit that I was disappointed when I put that same outfit on and it wasn't falling off of me like some of my other clothes are, but when I compared the old pics to the new ones ... one word - WOW!!

I hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and long weekend.  My Thanksgiving was good, but I did miss Christopher quite a bit that evening.   

Steve and I went shopping dark 'n early on Friday morning - up at 3:30AM and at WalMart by 4:30AM.  We were able to get most of the bargains that we went there for - surprise, surprise!  Then we went to Target and got several bargains there, and then we dropped the kids' presents off for hiding at his office, had breakfast at HyVee, and went home.  A few hours later, Steve went back to WalMart as he said he forgot we needed batteries.  He returned with the batteries AND a new computer for me for my birthday!  My birthday isn't until Dec. 5th but he has heard me yelling about my old computer being so stinkin' slow and decided to give it to me early!  Yea, I'm spoiled!

The rest of the weekend was fun - spent time with family, did some crafts, went to a craft show, did more shopping, etc.  Christopher got home early on Sunday so he made it in time to decorate the house and put up the Christmas tree with the rest of my family.  After all of that fun, I wrapped some presents, went bowling, and then went to bed early!

Between on-line shopping on Thursday and then shopping over the weekend, MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IS DONE!  WOOHOO!  I will need to get stocking stuffers for the kids right before Christmas, but that is it.  It will be so nice to be able to relax and enjoy Christmas this year!
