Un-freakin-believable

So, today was my first day keeping my journal of what I've been eating. I have been very worried about getting my protein in and scared that I was terribly deficient. But today, in keeping my journal, I actually exceeded my protein grams by 2.24 grams. I was still thinking I was going to be short by 20 grams. How could I have thought I was that short when I had actually gotten more. That just goes to show you that EVERYBODY that has said it for years and years had to have been right. Writing it down is imperative. You cannot do it in your head. I am so grateful to my journal and the OH friend that told introduced me to it. Doing it online is sooooo easy for me because it does all the math automatically. It even tells you how many calories your workout burned!! I have attempted to keep journals many times and never made it past the first couple of days. Thank God for everydayhealth.com. Now i've got 32 oz of water I need to get in for tonight..ttyl.
