The ups and downs

Nov 01, 2010

Got to see the EGD doctor yesterday and he states that I would normally not be some one that they would do an ablation on, but since I'm looking to have surgery it would be a good thing.  His office got me scheduled for Monday October 8, at 9:00 am.  Well needless to say I left his office on cloud nine just a few hours later to be knocked off.

Around 4:30 his nurse called to tell my that in most case BCBS KS does not cover ablation surgery.  She would call in the morning and find out and let me know.  Now let me just that there was someone in my office that did have an ablation for something else and the insurance did cover it.  I'm hoping that it not by the type of ablation that you getting that they look at, just that it's an ablation.  Just to be safe I asked the cost, but since it is outpaitent in the hospital she was not sure so she would get that for me as well.

It seems that everytime I take a step forward and think that this is real, I'm forced to take two back.  I keep praying to the Lord that this will happen.  I've even decided to slow and not have it take place until next year.

I want this so I will keep fighting and not give up.
