Banded rules.....

Something I found & wanted to save from a friends blog on here.....

Follow the "generally accepted, but not written in stone" band rules:
**Eat about 1/2 to 1 c. food per meal, 3 meals a day and one or two small (100 cal or so) snacks.
**Eat protein first (about 3 oz. of lean, solid protein at lunch and dinner), then veggies, then a bite or two of starch.
**Eat slowly and chew well.
**Don't drink liquids during meals, or for a hour or so afterwards.
**Avoid liquid calories (in my opinion, that includes protein drinks except during the healing stage or post-fill)
**Exercise.  Start slowly and strive for progression.
**Drink at least 8 8-oz. glasses of water a day.
