My first outing

I am 3 days post op today. I am feeling pretty good. I am ready to start my full liquids though. I am ready to taste something besides clear liquids.
My incisions looks great & they are beginning to itch. I have always heard that means they are healing, which is a good sign to me. : )
I went out today for several hours. I was ready to lay down when I got home. I went to WalMart & did a little shopping but mostly to walk to get the gas out. It worked...I had been walking outside but just not long enough. I had to push myself to get it to move around really well. My throat is a little sore, but I think its just irritation from the tube being down my throat during surgery.  I am trying to drink a little more, but don't want to drink too much & stetch out my pouch. I don't know if liquids will do that, but I don't want to chance it. When I feel like I maybe full, I don't sip for a little while, until that feeling goes away.
Looking forward to going to the Dr on Friday to get my staples out.
I have dreaming about food....its so weird. I dream about crazy stuff like eating donuts & buying big meals at fast food places & then throwing it away. I didn't realize I had so much in my mind about food....haha!!! Hopefully it won't last long.
