1 WEEK POST OP

Well, it went much easier than expected.  :)  No problems with neausea, post op pain, infections, etc.  The gas pains had pretty much cleared up by day 4, with getting up to walk around every hour or two from day the day of surgery.  The 2" incision looks gross, but what can you expect when they cut you open, right? 

Now my only issues are with the port (who knew how often you had to use your stomach muscles...  for EVERYTHING... right??)  So needless to say, that gives me a good pinch quite often.  But even that has gone down significantly.  Sat in my car on my way to work this morning and cried...  Because I couldn't lean out far enough to shut my door.  Lol.  But considering I'm only a week out, I don't think thats too shabby.  :)  

And I'm totally craving something of SUBSTANCE.  This liquid crap is for the birds.  *sigh*  A GF recommended chew and spit.  If it keeps up,  I may just take her advice.  My jaws just wanna chomp on something!!  Ugh,

Needless to say, one done...  3 more to go to "normal"  Yay me!!
