SO WHERE'S THE BAND??

Jul 08, 2011

So it’s been a week and a half since my first fill… And I’m still hungry. Not really feeling any restriction, but I do notice I get full quicker. Keeping my calories down around the 1500 range, but mainly because I just tell myself to stop and I’ve been keeping track, not necessarily because the band is telling me “ok, enough”. Next fill isn’t until the middle of August. Ugh.    So I called the Dr’s office. Perfectly normal. Many don’t start really feeling the restriction until after their second fill. As long as I don’t have a problem w/ throwing up or getting my food down (which I don’t, unless I forget and eat something too dry) I’m still on track.    I guess I just figured the band would be doing more to help out. Lol. I guess in a way it’s good that it’s not, because I can feel satisfied that I’m doing most of it myself. But if that’s the case, what was the point of the surgery?    I guess I’ll know when I start falling off the wagon again. Hopefully by that time, things will start working like they’re supposed to, to keep me on track. Lol.    Still not sorry I had it done, though. Even if it’s not doing much to tell me to “stop” apparently it put enough of a bug in my head to get it done myself.
