Forum venting...

Seriously… why does it seem every time you post a question on the forum, people just ignore the question and take it upon themselves to criticize what you’re doing, instead? It’s very discouraging when you want to use the forums as an aid, and all everyone wants to do is tell you what you’re doing wrong.   Example: My last post, I asked for snack suggestions. Simple enough question, right? Give me a snack suggestion. Period   But noooo, I have to be criticized for grazing all day. And yelled at for sitting down to a meal. Where the hell did that come from?? And who are you to tell me what I SHOULDN’T do? Did I ask your advice on my grazing habits? Did I ask your advice on how I eat my meals? Do you EVEN KNOW how I eat my meals, or why I graze all day instead of waiting for meal times??   What works for you, doesn’t work for everyone. I graze all day because I’m inclined to eat too fast when I wait until I’m hungry. AND THEN I PUKE. I prefer not to puke thank you, so I eat several small meals a day instead. And guess what??? I’m losing weight. So apparently it’s WORKING. Maybe when my band starts working like it’s supposed to, those habits will change, but I didn’t ask your opinion on my current one.   One tells me not to graze all day… and then gives this suggestion… Have breakfast, if you are hungry a midmorning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, then dinner. Umnn, if that’s not grazing, then what the heck is???    My doctor tells me it should take me as long to eat an appetizer as it would for the rest of the table to eat their appetizer and dinner. So someone else tells me, eat my meal within 20 minutes, then stop… I’m sorry. I’m inclined to do what my doctor tells me and not wolf my food down in 20 min. That’s why I’m fat in the first place. And did I happen to mention it makes me PUKE when I do that???   UGH!!! So frustrating. Why can’t they just answer the question you asked them instead of delving into what they ASSUME are all the little nuances of your behavior for analyzing?!?!?!?!   *screech*    Maybe I have PMS today… that’s all I have to say.
