So I got home from the hospital yesterday and well.. feel like a million bucks! My only two issues are that I'm having a little bit of seepage from 2 incisions and finding something elastically and loose around the middle. 

So lets start from the beginning -
Tuesday morning we get up at and in admitting at 5:30am.  I get into a bed and dressed in the gown at like 6 then start with the poking and pro ding.  All the nurses I talked to were really nice and sweet.  I got real lucky. Once I got into the operating room they started getting me strapped up then lights out.. Next thing I know I'm waking up in recovery. Waking up was rough!!!  It hurt really bad, then I was told about the pain pump... my new best friend... After awhile I was wheeled into my room and saw my parents and boyfriend.  It was pretty smooth after that.  It turns out the only real painful thing was the drain.  OMFG that was so so uncomfortable.  It turns out that was one of the main reasons i had asked for pain meds.  The nurses were really good about giving them whenever I asked. 

The first night was just OK.  I slept for a bit then would be woken up to walk and check my vitals. There was some crazy guy in the wing that I was on that lol well he was pretty pissed about something.  He must have been in his late 70's and not happy about being in the hospital.  The next day was better.  Walked a lot more then when the surgeon came in she checked me out and said I could go home the next day :)

Wow can't tell you how fantastic it felt to get that evil drain taken out!!  I felt like doing jumping jacks i was so happy!!!  I got all my stuff together and waited.. and waited.. and waited...until finally I got set free!!

Well it's now Friday afternoon, and only had surgery Tuesday morning, i feel great.  I am one of the lucky ones that have had no issues so far.  Knock on wood this is going better than I could have ever hoped.  I had 3 oz of yogurt then later spaced out I had 3 oz of my protein drink.. had to stop, i was so full LOL can't believe how great this is going.
