Attempting to remain cautiously optimistic

As my profile states, I've been researching and desiring to have WLS for many years now.  For financial reasons I am unable to be a "self pay" and have to rely on insurance to cover it or at least the majority of it.  Again, my husband's insurance refuses to cover any attempts to lose weight, either surgically or even consultations with a PCP.

And that's all about to change.  I hope and pray.

Our insurance is changing in January and WLS is covered.  Even typing that still shocks me.

I have researched all surgery options and still feel that RNY is the best option for me.  I have a two page list of things I want to accomplish from this surgery and many more things that I could add to it.
