Some Tiny Progress...

 So, had my 3rd meeting with my Dr. for the supervised diet that my insurance requires and I have lost 2 whole pounds!  Lol! I'll probably wake up tomorrow and it'll be back! My Dr was impressed though as he actually gained over the holidays and he is on the same diet that he has put me on! As I have said before, he is not a big fan of the surgery and honestly, the first couple of visits were a bit uncomfortable...he actually had positive things to say today though and that made me a bit more comfortable with him. I also had a great talk with his nurse (you know you can always find the dirt on the Dr's from their Nurses) and she said that they have NEVER had anyone be rejected for bariatric surgery. So, that set my mind at ease. The more I research the RNY the more I realize that it is going to be a challenging ride but in the end it will be worth it. I AM a bit worried about the no NSAID's part...I get horrible sinus headaches somewhat frequently and the only thing that helps the pain is excedrine or goody powders. (I know-they're bad for you anyway.) I just can't STAND to have a headache! Anyway, since I have made up my mind to have the surgery done, I am impatient and ready for everything to happen. My insurance has been incredibly helpful and encouraging...this really surprised me. We will see what happens when it comes to getting the final approval though! :) Take Care All!! 'Til next time I decide to blather about nothing!
