Feeling good in August!

Ahhh...August already?! I cannot believe I am just a little over 12 months out from RNY. I went to my grandma's 80th birthday bash yesterday and really enjoyed seeing extended family and friends that I haven't seen in awhile. Everyone was so encouraging, and I even got asked if I was "pregnant" because I "glowed!" No...definetly not pregnant, just VERY happy with my life in general. I love my RNY and am so glad for this decision. I am so thankful to have my life back, and to enjoy it. I never realized how unhappy I truly was until now. I feel better about my body, but I also am soooo much healthier. This has been a process, and will always be. I still want to lose another 30 pounds or so, but I am taking it one day at a time. I am just so thankful to feel more "normal." Feeling happy and blessed!
