Post-op day 4!!

7/6/12Well I have been home for a couple days now! I am doing GREAT! I feel absolutely amazing. I am getting in my protein and my fluids very well. I sip about 4 oz every hour. I can't believe how good I feel. I have been up walking around the house a bit. Actually walked upstairs a couple times. I really wish I could go outside and walk, but it's way too hot. I would dehydrate way to easily in the heat. The important this is I LOVE MY POUCH!! It is treating me right. OF course I'm treating it right!! LOL
I have had Absolutely NO problems or complications so far. The only bad experience was in the hospital on day 2. They stopped my PCA pump because I was itching from the pain meds WAY too bad. Taking Benedryl everytime I could. So they switched me to demerol and OMG!! It made me SOOO sick. I was sick ALLL friggin day Tuesday. I now know that I am VERY allergic to demerol! That night they switched me to morphine and I tolerated that just fine. I felt 99.9% better after that demerol was out of my system!
LIke I said, I am doing wonderfully.
I have no idea how much, if any, weight I have lost since surgery. I have to go downstairs to the basement to see how much I weigh. That's where the kids play all their games and my mom's wii is down there with the Wii fit. That's how I weigh here.
Oh yeah. The day I came home from the hospital, my mom had me some gifts. The first one was an exercize ball. Then she hands me a BRAND NEW Wii and a Wii fit to go with it!!!!!!! Ready to get that thing home and hook it up!! lol
So that's enought for now. I am fabulous! Will update more later! :)
