Christmas has come and somewhat gone.....I am on vacation with my brothers in Sedona right now....so, we are pro-longing the holiday! 

My band is still tight and not allowing me to over indulge.  Of course, some stuff like cookies are still allowed as much as my will power will allow.  ha ha

My older brother and his wife said that I look great.  I know I look much better than I did last Christmas!  This rental vacation home is gorgeous!  I wish that we met like this in the summer time also, as these houses usually  have nice pools.  Oh well.....we are still having a wonderful time! 

I bought myself a new iPod for Christmas....trying to figure all of this crap out is frustrating!  LOL  I want to dedicate 2009 to getting physically fit and losing the rest of my excess weight.    I am quite sure I can accomplish that!!  Bring on 2009!!

As you can see, I did take some pictures last week and changed my avatar.  Like th new pictures much better!  DH and I went to my boss's house last Saturday for a little Christmas get together.  It was a lot of fun, we played Wii and had a nice dinner. 

Dear Auntie Flo came to see me on Wednesday.  I have been eating my fudge and cookies that I baked like crazy since she came, so I haven't even stepped on the scale.   I will be just fine after she leaves.  I will be going up to Sedona on Friday.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone.  Only Jacob and Christina have seen me at my current size.  I think everyone else will be pleasantly surprised at how I look.   I plan on taking long walks while I am there and just relaxing and enjoying myself immensely.   I really resent being so broke at Christmas time.  I wrapped all of the gifts for DH and DS the other night andf was sad that it wasn't more.  Oh well.  Every year it's the same story though......I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING BROKE!  

I got to the breaking point with my weight and did something about it.  I am at that point now where money is concerned.  I am going to have to find myself a weekend job.  There is just no way around it.  My current job is wonderful, but DH just doesn't seem to be the one that is going to step up and make the money we NEED to make just to pay our bills.....so, I will do it myself.  His job starts in mid January, we'll see how motivated he is very soon.  Relying on other people just isn't my style.  I sure wish I had a rich sugar daddy though!! 

DH got offered a job yesterday!!!  YEAH!!!    It won't start for four more weeks, and we need income NOW, but hell, I am relieved!! 

I still haven't taken a new picture, maybe this evening I will.  I have been working OT every day, so when I get home I look like hell and don't want to take a picture.  LOL  

The scale is hovering at 187!  Yeah!  Auntie Flo will come to town soon and try to mess with that I am sure, but the numbers have been holding steady for three days in a row, not to shabby!! 

I got my gift from my secret santa, or should I say gifts?  I was spoiled!!  Great, great gifts!!!  It really cheered up my tired soul! 

I have probably lost close to 15 pounds since my avatar picture was taken.  Even though I don't think there is probably a big difference in my appearance since it was taken, I do think it's time for a change.  So, in the next couple of days I will try to get an updated one taken and uploaded. 

I have been stressing a bit about my DH's employment situation.  My band tends to tighten up when I am stressed, upset or angry.  Luckily for me, that did mean weight loss this week!  LOL  I am all the way back down to 186!!!!  That's the lowest I have been in YEARS.
