Surgeon Testimonial

Douglas Olsen, M.D.
My first impression was that he was all business & really didn't care to be interrupted when talking, but was just who I wanted to do my surgery. This has not changed I still feel the same and would choose him again.rnThe office staff are fantastic. They are the nicest group of folks and I am looking forward to seeing them each chance I get. rnProbably the being interrupted when talking is the least that I like, I interrupt because if I wait until your are finished I'll forget what I was gonna ask.And if I write it down I'm not hearing.rnFuture patients of Dr.O. should simply know that he is fantastic!rnHe is big on aftercare, not drill sergant big but it is emphasized greatly.rnHe addressed the risk of surgery point blank. He compared the risks to my previous surgeries and made the risk clearer.rnI give Dr. Douglas Olsen a big ole \"10\".rnBoth his surgical competence and bedside manner are Fabulous!!!!

I have been trying to add a picture to my avatar and pretty up my page and it seems that everything I try is too big. There has to be a simpler method. Any hints?

Hi ya'll I am out as some of you know.

I wrote my story forSonya to help ease her mind and forgot to post it so instead of me doing it again (it is sooooo long) go there PLEASE and read.
But anyway I am doing good. I haven't really had a struggle keeping up with my fluid and protein. I did however feel miserably bloated on Sunday. I started feeling that way around 1 a.m. So I took a little sip of Milk of Magnesia, since I hadn't gone to the potty on Sat. got a good cleaning and felt fine the rest of the day.
So today is Monday and things have been good. I've tried to get a few things done, nothing strenuous, I have to because the lady that was gonna be my help this week has come down with a bug and I do not want her anywhere near my daughter and I. We can catch it just looking at it. And since everybody else is working and all I have to call on are three of my bachelor brothers (and I have seen there houses) Ayron and I will make do until here Daddy comes in.
I am not as sore as I usually am, but a I am feeling a bit more pain sitting at this desk. But I have reduced my pain med and hopefully soon I will not need them at all. I go see Dr. O. on Thursday 5/14.

I have discovered something, when taking my calcium citrate it is mint flavored of course but for me still nasty. So I crush it and mix a little Crystal Light tea with lemon and it goes down wonderfully, kinda like mint julep without the julep. And my Unjury protein is mixing great with Wal-mart brand orange sunrise, red raspberry, and fruit punch.

Well I hope all are doing great and looking forward to hearing from you all!   Hugs and God Bless! Marilyn

Hello all!   My name is Marilyn and I am 40 years old and have been obese my entire life. I have been blessed with a beautiful little girl and I need to improve my health and life style in order to be here for her and enjoy my grandbabies on day. I was told at 18 that I would never have children (1st due to left ovary removeal and 2nd scar tissue). Then to my surprise I became pregnant at 36. She is my greatest blessing on earth.
She wants to play and I am just to out of shape to be her playmate. But not for long-----I"M GONNA BE A LOSER!"  Sounds so good to say that. It has been a long road getting to this point (1 year and 5 months). I have to deal alot with my insurance company, but I am here and soon will be off and running(literally). Will post more soon!
