Week 5 - Post Op

So Week 5 Post Op included Christmas.  I was able to eat a tad of most things, and even slipped in a sliver of cheesecake and a brownie bite.  I learned that sucking on a candy cane helped with my nausea.  So, peppermint has now become a staple.  My nausea is worst when I first get up, but as the day goes on it gets better. 

Now I am struggling with what is convenient to eat that follows the rules.  It is amazing how many things you eat has carbs of one sort or another attached to the protein, even diet dinners!  I have also been struggling with just being really tired.  I know I am still not getting in 60-80 grams of Protein and I am not getting all of my water.  I did have to take Milk of Magnesia due to no bm is 7 days and that solved that problem.

I intend to start today (now that Christmas is over) being more conscious of what I am eating, making sure I eat right, getting my liquids in and getting my 30 minutes of exercise.  I even brought a gym bag to work to use the gym here at work.

My weight loss has really slowed down, only 2 lbs each of the last 2 weeks.  Hopefully, I can jump start it this week.  I wouldn't say I love my sleeve yet, but we are starting to get used to each other!
