Surgery time moved up.

I'm still having surgery Nov 8th but I just got off the phone with my Dr's office and they moved my surgery up from 1:30PM to 10:00AM. Thank goodness is all I can say. I'm sure Ill be so nervous the day of and having less time to stress makes me happy. Yay!

Just under 3 weeks away!

Surgery is just under 3 weeks away and I cant wait! Not so much for the surgery itself but to be on the loser's bench. Ive been talking to some awesome people (Thanks Julia and Ed!) and they have helped relieve so much of my anxiety related to the surgery. I'm looking forward to getting healthy and staying that way. Ready or not life, here I come! 
It's Official

Well, its official. I got all the paperwork from my surgeons office today. It tells me when my preop appointment is, what labs I need and all that. My surgery is scheduled for November 8th at 1:30 PM. I really wish it was scheduled for the early morning. I'm going to be anxious as hell and having to wait will make it worse I'm sure lol. My 2 seek post-op appointment is November 24th, the day before Thanksgiving. That means I get to go to try pureed food for Turkey day. Mmmm pured turkey.. Bleh! Any way, I'm getting excited about having this all done and on the road to recovery and health. Yay!

Yay, I just go off the phone with my Dr's office and found out that I have been approved for RNY and have been given a surgery date of Nov 8th! Just two days after my birthday! What a great present. Yay for me. Its turning out to be an awesome day today. I was given my 5 year pin at work today to.

Well, I should find out weather my surgery is approved this week and possibly get a date! I'm so anxious! I hope I'm approved.
