Good morning gang. I hope each of you had a Thanksgiving full of blessings & happiness! Just wanted to update on my status. I got a call from the Insurance Advisor from Dr. Kim's office. I have to have a 6 month doctor monitored weight loss program and come up with $1100 in total for the surgery. I actually already have a 6 month doctors monitored weight loss under my belt but I am considering going ahead and doing another 6 months so it will give me time to save up what I have to come up with out of pocket. I only draw disability so to come up with it right away is impossible for me. I don't look at this as a set back, just an chance to get what I need. If this changes I will make sure to update.
