It has been almost 6 months since surgery and I have been down 100 pounds since my 5 month mark!!!!  I am ecstatic about my new figure and can't imagine how the next 100 pounds gone will make me feel and look like!!!  Happy Holidays everyone!!!

So, it has been ust over 2 months since my surgery and I have lost 61 pounds!!!  I feel amazing and incredible!!!  My mother is giving me all of her shirts and jeans so I don't have to go shopping for new thigs yet.  My scrubs for work are falling off of me.  It is truly an incredible feeling to put clothes in a "TOO BIG PILE!!!!"  I had a slight issue with my gall bladder and ended hospitalized.  I was awakened to acute stomach and back pain and thought I was having a gall bladder attack or appendix issues.  Turned out it was my gall bladder not functioning at 100%.  I have to go back to repeat my Hyder scan, but other than that, I am so happy!!! 

Okay, so it's been 4 weeks since surgery and I am now able to eat non-pureed food.  Certain things I vow never to eat again!!!  I had a fried scallop and it made me sick.  I didn't vomit, but I won't do it again.  Lunch meat is an absolute NO-NO!!!!  I have only vomited twice and both after eating munch meat.  I also get an extreme back pain!!!  I swear it feels like back labor!!!  It is the most excrutiating pain ever!!!!  I wish I knew the cause of this!!!!  Other than that, I have lost 36 pounds and feel pretty good!!!

So, June 27th, I went in for my RNY surgery and woke up feeling real good.  To my surprise, I didn't have an NG tube or JP drain-which was awesome!  I feel great!  I stayed in the hospital for two days and had such great attention from my boyfriend.  He was incredible!  He washed me, gave me back rubs and foot rubs.  I couldn't ask for a better partner-hopefully this will continue as the weight starts to come off.  I have been walking and making sure that I have been active while I am awake.  I am unable to get the ounce of puree down-I am just too full!  I havent had a bowel movement, which is concerning me, but I have started to have gas, so hopefully it comes soon.  Overall, I am pleased with my success and look forward to my journey of weight loss!!!
