Two Weeks Today

Today is 14 days.  I am going back to the basics and liquids liquids liquids.  One thing I learned this week is, just because there is a manual and just because Jane and John Doe did it this way does not mean you are going to be able to.  We are all different and I may heal slower than you therefore my needs are going to be different. 

I was trying to rush things I think, I was wanting to just be normal.  Be like everyone else.  When you have this surgery LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR BODY IS SAYING....  I know that getting liquids in is #1 and getting protein in is #2 but they run CLOSE... my body isnt able to handle pureed at this point and thats fine.  its ok too even if it takes 1 month.

I can be different, just means my body is different.  When you have this or similar surgery , Try very hard to take things as they come.  If something isnt working go back to what is.  Someone explained it to me like a brand new baby tummy.


Everyone has talent. What is rare is the courage to follow that talent to the.... place where it leads.
