Why is the vomiting happening?

Feb 24, 2010

Went to the Docs today.

He seems to think I may have an ulcer at my incision line and that maybe causing my vomiting.  He has perscribed Nexium

and Reglan....Nexium for nausea and Reglan keeps food moving instead of sitting on ulcer.

Reglan

Reglan increases muscle contractions in the upper
digestive tract. This speeds up the rate at which the stomach empties into the intestines.

Reglan is used short-term to treat heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux in people who have used other medications without relief of symptoms.

Reglan is also used to treat slow gastric emptying in people with diabetes (also called diabetic gastroparesis), which can cause nausea, vomiting, heartburn, loss of appetite, and a feeling of fullness after meals.

So all in all there was something going on!~
