8 Weeks

I am 8 weeks out and as I was thinking back about the last 8 weeks its def has been a roller coaster ride.  The night before my surgery I slept about 1.5 hours and couldn't sleep the rest of the night.  I just chalked it up to nerves.  I remember thinking that this surgery was going to be a breeze for me and didn't even imagine having any issues.  I had a REALLY positive attitude and I knew this wasn't the magic pill but a tool that I could accomplish my goal with.

Now that I am 8 weeks out and actually eating food again.  I am still throwing up and it just depends on the day.  Some days my stomach can seem to tolerate anything other days, it doesn't want to tolerate anything. So my day goes by what I eat first thing in the morning.

I have lost 33 lbs and have been at a plateau for about a month which has been frustrating.  I know tho that the scale will start moving I just need to keep doing what I know is right and the scale will continue to move. The problem is, this is where I get so frustrated and I am but this time, I am not stopping, I am still going to the YMCA every morning and working out and lifting weights every other day.

so... I have learned a lot over the last 8 weeks and am grateful for what I have learned!

Everyone has inside them a piece of good news. The good news is you don't know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!
