I've been completely MIA (well almost MIA)....things have been going great!!! For the month of March, I lost a total of 7lbs...woooohoooo!!! I was so happy when they told me how much weight I lost considering that for the month of February I only lost 3lbs but I guess a loss is a loss is a loss, lol....so in short, it's better to lose something than to not lose anything at all. I'm only 11lbs away from losing a total of 50lbs and I'm trying to decide what I want to do to celebrate. Finding something to do is a little harder than one would think it would be. I mean, how hard can it be to reward yourself for your accomplishments lol...but for me I guess it's pretty darn hard.Before my fill appt. (last week) I initially had 5.4cc's and my PA decided that I may have been too tight and decided to take out 0.2cc's which puts me at having 5.2cc's currently in my band. Initially, I didn't think that 0.2cc's would make a difference but obviously I was sadly mistaken. I've lost restriction now and on my next fill appt. I'm definitely having them put my 0.2cc's back, lol.
I'm still working out 5 days a week for an hour and a half to two hours Monday-Friday. I've actually bumped my workout up b/c I feel like my body is getting used to my routine and it feels as if I'm not challenging myself anymore. I'm now able to run on the treadmill at a speed of 5.2 for 25 minutes straight. Considering that I could barely last running 2 minutes at a speed of 4.5, I'm doing GREAT, LOL.
Last Saturday I went to a friends b-day party and I received so many compliments on how great I look. A lot of my friends have not seen me since I started this weight loss journey and they were completely shocked to see how much weight I've lost. It made me feel so good b/c I was actually feeling a little down. I had just bought some new jeans and I thought that they were a lil too tight and that I thought that it drew a lot of attention to my rolls and I started to second guess wearing my outfit but luckily for me I didn't b/c no one even noticed (what a relief).
