The one who is going to perform my surgery. The one who will hold my hand. The one who was so nice and answered every single question I had and answered the questions I didn't have.
I MET DR. JAY (as he's affectionately known).I went in on March 4th. My group (composed of 3 other beautiful voluptuous women) watched 2 videos. The first video covered all a person needs to know about Lap-band and the other covered everything about RNY Gastric Bypass. They were extremely detailed and even showed the actual procedures of both.
He then consulted with me privately informing me that I need to lose 15 lbs.
by September before having WLS. He showed me where my incisions were going to be. He was very nice and non-condescending (like some doctors can be). He made me feel like everything will be okay.I have scheduled my appointment to meet the Nut next Friday and the Psych the 1st week of April. I'm well on my way folks.
It's so exciting.
