A Little Over a Month Left :D

Hey OH Fam.  Welp, I have been on track and have been to every class, done every weigh-in, and have done all my testing and blood work.  I have 2 more weigh-ins left.  Aug. 1st and Sept. 1st.  I am sooooo excited because this 6 months is closing in fast.   I've learned so much about myself these past several months.  I've learned that I can control what I eat when I have a goal to reach.  My birthday is Sept. 26th and it looks like I'll be having my surgery somewhere around my birthday.  That's an awesome birthday gift.  I'm looking forward to it.  I've lost a total of 8 lbs. since I started this journey.  I need to lose another 7 by Sept. to keep my doctor from putting me on a liquid diet before my surgery.  This week, I started drinking protein shakes for breakfast.  I found one that I really like called Oh Yeah!  They're delicious.  I also found out that they make protein bars with less sugar than most, but it's not sold in stores like the shakes are.

My leg is recovering really well and I'm off the cane even.  I walk normal (pretty much) again.  So I think this weekend I will try walking the track again and see how that goes.  Hopefully, if I take it slow enough, it'll be fine.

I cannot wait to start posting post-op pics.  You 'losers' look so amazing.  It's awesome to see the transformation right before my eyes.
